CANDLE CARE INFORMATION
Let’s make sure your candle burns cleanly during its 40hr lifetime.
Before each burn, please make sure your wick is trimmed down to 1/4”. This will ensure a clean and even burn. If you don’t burn your wick enough, you risk the potential of build up which causes black smoke and too tall of a flame. Make sure your wax is fully hardened before trimming your wick to avoid disrupting the next burn quality.
When burning your candle for the first time, please make sure the wax is melted to the edges of the jar ensuring the entire surface is melted. Failing to do so can result in tunneling and memory rings which will reduce the quality of future burns.
Let’s make sure your candle wick is the only thing being burnt.
Your candle should only be lit for 4 hours max at a time. Burning longer than 4 hours can cause the vessel to overheat and cause build up on your wick. You should discard candle once there is 1/2” of wax left in the bottom. Do not continue trying to light this amount.
Keep your candle away from children, pets and anywhere it can be easily grabbed or pushed over potentially spilling hot wax or dropping an open flame. Do not keep near an open draft that could potentially carry the flame. Make sure your candle surface is clean of debris, soot, or wick trimmings before each burn to ensure a clean, safe burn.
