Burma

I was born in Burma (Myanmar). Burma — a beautiful country in Southeast Asia — is bordered by Bangladesh and India to its northwest, China to its northeast, Laos and Thailand to its east and southeast.

I remember Burma for its beauty, spirituality, warm hospitality, and resilient people.

Rudyard Kipling — an English novelist, short-story writer, poet, and journalist — once said: This is Burma, and it will be quite unlike any other land you know about.
